Slime Care
No! Do not eat slime, it is not edible. Children ages 7 and under should not play with slime without adult supervision.
In heat, slimes will melt and become sticky. This may happen because of transit, being stored in hot areas, etc.
The fix is easy! Simply mix 1/2 teaspoon borax with one cup of water and SLOWLY add it into the slime until you've achieved your desired texture. Please be careful! Slime may get overactivated very quickly. If you've already used the borax given with the slime, you can easily buy it online or at your local shops.
Slime can lose stretch in cold weather. If you live in a colder area, your slime may arrive not stretchy.
There are multiple ways to fix this such as: storing in a warm place, lotion, or microwaving it until it melts slightly (only a few seconds). However, avoid adding lotion to clear slime as it may make it cloudy.
The best way to fix it is by leaving it somewhere warm to melt. This process may take a while, depending on how overactivated it is.
Always wash your hands before and after playing with the slime, keep in an airtight container when not playing with it, and use gloves if sensitive to: borax, glue, or glycerin.
